Preamble

Whereas, Venice Digital Consulting LLC recognizes the fundamental importance of respecting human rights and combating modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms;

Whereas, Venice Digital Consulting LLC is committed to upholding ethical standards and ensuring the integrity of its operations and supply chains;

Whereas, Venice Digital Consulting LLC acknowledges its responsibility to contribute to the eradication of modern slavery and human trafficking worldwide;

Now, therefore, Venice Digital Consulting LLC hereby enacts the following Modern Slavery Act:

Section 1: Definitions

1.1. Modern Slavery Modern slavery encompasses all forms of forced labor, human trafficking, servitude, and exploitation, as defined by international standards and conventions.

1.2. Supply Chain The network of entities involved in the production, manufacturing, distribution, and provision of goods and services to Venice Digital Consulting LLC, including but not limited to suppliers, subcontractors, and business partners.

Section 2: Policy Statement

2.1. Venice Digital Consulting LLC affirms its commitment to preventing and mitigating the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within its operations and supply chains.

2.2. Venice Digital Consulting LLC shall not tolerate any form of modern slavery or human trafficking and shall endeavor to identify, assess, and address such risks effectively.

2.3. Venice Digital Consulting LLC shall uphold the principles of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in all its business activities.

Section 3: Due Diligence and Risk Assessment

3.1. Venice Digital Consulting LLC shall conduct periodic risk assessments to identify and evaluate the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within its operations and supply chains.

3.2. Venice Digital Consulting LLC shall implement due diligence processes to assess the compliance of its suppliers and business partners with this Act and applicable anti-slavery laws and regulations.

Section 4: Training and Awareness

4.1. Venice Digital Consulting LLC shall provide training and awareness programs to its employees and relevant stakeholders to enhance understanding of modern slavery risks and compliance obligations.

4.2. Venice Digital Consulting LLC shall promote a culture of vigilance and reporting, encouraging employees to raise concerns about suspected instances of modern slavery or human trafficking.

Section 5: Reporting and Transparency

5.1. Venice Digital Consulting LLC shall publish an annual Modern Slavery Statement, detailing its efforts to prevent and address modern slavery and human trafficking in its operations and supply chains.

5.2. The Modern Slavery Statement shall be made publicly available on Venice Digital Consulting LLC’s website and submitted to relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Section 6: Enforcement and Compliance

6.1. Venice Digital Consulting LLC shall establish mechanisms for monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing compliance with this Act, including appropriate sanctions for non-compliance.

6.2. Venice Digital Consulting LLC shall engage in dialogue and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and industry partners, to advance the objectives of this Act.

Section 7: Review and Amendment

7.1. Venice Digital Consulting LLC shall periodically review and, if necessary, revise this Act to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with evolving best practices and legal requirements.

Section 8: Effective Date

8.1. This Company Modern Slavery Act shall take effect immediately upon adoption by Venice Digital Consulting LLC’s board of directors and shall remain in force until amended or repealed.
